Vapsi : The Art of Being
THE MEANING OF VAPSI - THE ART OF BEING
Vapsi means “the returning”.
Vapsi means "Returning to the inner being."
In Yoga Sutra is called PRATYAHAR means 'returning' to oneself'.
Returning from periphery of thoughts to the center of being,
From darkness to no-darkness,
From personality to individuality,
From ignorance of illusion to unlearning,
From blurred falsity to total clarity,
From slumber to the laughter of having witnessed the futility,
From attachment to an unconditional freedom,
From having a face to having a facelessness state.
To return means claiming he thus called “the kingdom of heaven”
To return means responding to the call, the ever existing call to know the life to its entirety.
To return is to expand the consciousness and reach to the every possible corner of the existence expanding with the infinity of the existence.
To return means to be the whole from being fragmented.
"To return to the roots in nothingness is the only desire. This nothingness is the space that man belongs to and must return to.
To return is to give life the meaning that it really longs for.
Vapsi the returning is a deep love call from our own roots to be one with them.
The returning evaporates all the sins, condemnation and all that by which mind has been eluding the man.
Returning is a communication made with the existence. The returning is the journey from the slumber to breathing existence.
A systematic approach can be made half way through.
This is mechanical and this can be done with profound willingness to witness the attachments through meditation.
To penetrate deep in to the very center of the being one has to make profound efforts.
The returning makes sure that all the discomforts, inconveniences confusions and blurred vision gets annihilated making one seated in the center.
The returning is the real birth. One birth is from the womb of mother and second birth is when one is one with the godliness knowing al the mysteries of life.
This life is merely vegetating and defecating if not given any meaning to it, the meaning that is existential.
Deep down man is not seeking any God but the godliness which is eternal.
Seeking godliness is just like groping in darkness.
What should one do to find the address of the godliness one is deeply seeking?
What is the address of that which we are longing for?
One only desires for whose address is not known.
A very deep desire is needed to attain and become one with what one is desiring.
One can’t arrive unless one invites the godliness.
Godliness is waiting to be reached but not waiting to be grasped.
One has to invite Godliness with open arms and a heart filled with love.
One doesn’t know how to attain Godliness but Godliness Keeps waiting to be merged with.
Meditation is the way to be one with it. What one is seeking is also seeking the seeker.
That which is being sought needs tremendously dedicated search or at least making efforts to be mentally prepared the sought to make the presence felt.
Searching can’t be done by mind; rather, mind is to be transcended to have the first hand experience of what is being sought.
One has to invite the guest within to come and embrace- invitation is accepted the moment the urge to meet is total and this totality to be had demands meditation.
No mediator is needed to return home- one just needs to know the path to talk upon and start the journey.
Vapsi is a such method which lets one realize being on the right path to godliness giving tremendous experience of divineness and bliss.
The returning is to be moving back to the original source.
People make all the efforts from a scratch groping in the dark to be back to the roots but generally it is heard that “nothing happens” – because a systematic approach is missing.
First there should be a deep desire to know the futility of living in the dark and coming out of it; then only outline of the path is visible to traverse through.
No technique or method can work unless one deeply desire to know oneself, a readiness to witness the though process is but imperative and this process surely makes one have the experience of death while the breathing continues.
Anyone reaches the state of samadhi never returns to being the same person again. He is in a totally different realm where only the bliss prevails He never returns to the same mind set that used to keep him confused and in the dark.
Vapsi means to have the taste of Samadhi which is a junction.
When someone returns from the samdhi, there is no mind to welcome him but –no-mind and he returns as a master not as a slave to the mind.
The returning is the ultimate joy as a path and and a destination.
